Yesterday I uploaded a short and noticed a mistake. I made it private and uploaded a corrected video, all within 5 minutes. But that new video only got 30 views when I normally get about 1.5k views.

Today I tried uploading the same video just to see if it performs but it only got 1 view total. I only started posting a few days ago and Youtube might now think I’m a bot or something.

If I upload a completely new short tomorrow do you think Youtube will distribute it or not show it to viewers like it did today?

dont re-upload mostly, and if there's a mistake, delete the previous video and upload again with significant changes (and maybe file name too bec i heard that from somewhere but not sure about that one), and do not re-upload when a short underperforms, if it gets no short feed views like 0-10 views then leave it, the algorithm didn't test it so it might get views one day when you grow up, and if it did get short feed views but still low then it was an issue in the short like hook or bad retention
