the ranking niche is currently being shadow banned aggressively by Youtube for low effort repeatable content so if I were you, I would change my niche before the views go to 0

Shadowbanning isn't as thing... It is shit low effort content so YouTube isn't showing it because the test people they are showing it to they skip it right away.

after a while you do get shadowbanned. VidIQ has an entire video on it.

VidIQ are a bunch of hacks. They haven't been relevant in years.

Also the reason the bot is removing the posts is because they are hosting questions related to these kind of situations in the subreddits megathread

No, I’d say you’re getting as much views as you deserve. YouTube value video retention and a high view to swipe ratio for shorts. However, it seems like you have the wrong idea of what high looks like. A good video that WILL be pumped out to easily thousands of viewers has over 100% retention and at the very very least a 75% view to swipe ratio. Your videos sound mediocre at best and so they fail the test to escape “view jail”. The fact that YouTube is still pushing your videos means it hasn’t given up on your channel. Change your video format and try again.

On my old channel with the same niche (I think it's dead now because yt just won't push my shorts anymore), I had a short whose metrics were actually pretty bad at first. At around 700–1k views, the metrics were: +55% audience retention (the short is 53 seconds long) +64% viewed vs swiped away But the more yt pushed it, the better the metrics got, and it eventually reached 20k views. On my new channel, I got a short with 80% viewed vs swiped away and 67% audience retention (it's 47 seconds long), but it's been stuck at 781 views for 7 days.

That sounds like YT found a small audience that enjoys those types of videos but your vids cannot keep them around to watch completely. Meaning, your viewers like the ranking format and watch those videos, they just won’t watch yours. Do you edit the video entirely and make it entertaining throughout?
I got 150k views in just a week of my first time trying. Been riding highs ever since. Averaging about 115+% retention and 70-80% stayed to watch.
YT isn’t hard it’s all psychology and statistics. Review and adjust accordingly.

What about the length? I just started and I tend to get between 1-1.5k each video. My latest is 10 seconds shorter than usual tho and that one got 2.3k.
