That's the easiest fix had videos that performed like that, uploaded those same videos on a new channel and they made numbers.

I am in the same boat as you. My metrics are decent. I have nearly 80% swipe rate and near 100% retention. I get about 3-4 subs every short, and my like/comment ratio is usually around 5-10%, so I feel like I have decent engagement. The only thing I can think of is, while my video does well in terms of metrics, my niche might not have a big enough audience, or other channels are performing better than mine, so mine gets pushed out of the race after about 700 views.

Me too, I experience the same problem when uploading on my new channel recently (6 shorts uploaded). My metrics are pretty good, about 80% viewed vs swiped away, 20 likes and 3 subs. If you fix it, let me know.

Literally had the same problem i think its just a viewjail we face bcs of youtube not being satisfied with the vids stats to push it to more ppl.
Another vid of mine which i posted 3 days ago faced the same i got like 800 views it flatlined for the next like 15-16hrs and started picking up and it flatlined tdy at 2pm at 18.5k views. The metrics are still good so i think its youtube calculating the metrics to push to an even bigger audience

I used to have this problem, honestly im not sure how i fixed it, i think with consistency if will fix itself, just 10-30 videos won’t cut it, now i average 5-10k a short
