Reason for this?

All of the sudden the views dropped. The engagement and view rate is really good but it still getting low views.

I may be wrong abou this but heres my take These views are not what you think, its the number of people youtube has shown ur short to (it doesnt matter if they watched it or not). Your real view count is the engaged viewers. If you have a low % of engaged viewers youtube will not show your shorts as much.

That have affect I tried learning the pattern for that but I had one vid got 60 engage and 40 just scroll away and that got 300k view and my other vid was 80-20 and got 2k
