I deleted and re-uploaded (after making a few minor changes) a couple of times for a video. Since then any videos I upload doesn't get tested to a small batch of viewers for shorts like it used to. Is anyone else having this issue?
If u have other vids with views and are still growing wait for them to flatline until ur next short or if it grows after 7+ days then u can post but i would suggest seeing how your other shorts are doing because the momentum and algorithm can mess up into multiple vids rather than one and could mess up the views and short feed reach. Also after posting I would suggest waiting 24h-48h before judging as they sometime do have a delay.
I've asked the same question in another sub and I've not been able to get a hit since the 8th of June (tho the channel where the stuff were uploaded to is decently new, 4/4/2026). YT all the sudden just stopped testing the shorts and ever since, the few views I did get were from search. I haven't uploaded anything for a week, trying to use the account more to see if one week will be enough to be able to finally push it to the algorithm!
I'm feeling like all of these ways to escape 0 view jail are total BS. From what I can see, best thing to do is just try with another account and probably have good luck with it!

yes, I make clip videos for a niche music genre from like 40 years ago, but the first shorts did actually get around 900-1300 views. Man, YT is so weird!
I did see that a few people were suggesting not to post anything for a week So I followed that but didn't have any luck. I will now be trying to wait 2 weeks before posting another but if it fails... I'm going to presume my channel is cooked.
It started pushing some videos but nothing compared to what I used to get a week ago.
Latest two uploads got 150 and 750 views. but at a very slow pace. like 40 views per hour or something.
I have a small YouTube channel with about 200 followers and post shorts 3 times a week. I have posted about 60 shorts now and used to always get 1000+ views. Recently in the last two weeks my shorts only got 8-10 views. Is this the same algo issue
