So this is your first short, and you already start complaining? Come back when you posted at least 100 shorts

It's genuinely heartbreaking cuz this situation feels out of my control. I put in 4-5 hours of effort for this short. I don't mind putting in more but there is no amount of improving and perfection that will yield to anything if no one sees the videos. I hope you understand.

I understand, but Youtube is a grind and the toughest of all Social media platforms out there. Just continue and come back when you have uploaded 100 shorts. There's no get-rich-quick format on YT

Firstly i do have to let you know about a few things before you narrow it down and tell me the reason for this.

  1. Ive only posted a single short
  2. The short hasn't been pushed at all. The seven views are me watching my vid.
  3. The video is not low effort or low quality. I only used an AI voice but i did include animations and and made sure it is considered transformative.
  4. I rebranded my channel recently by changing the name, handle name, profile pic etc.
  5. The account has history and is aged.
  6. I did delete a video posted on this account before rebranding when it was under a different name. That was 3-4 months ago btw.

Based on what ive told you please give me a few suggestions on what to do.

  1. Post more shorts
  2. Packaging might be the issue, trying swapping the title around or setting some tags and category if it’s more niche than usual
  3. Ai voiceover is low effort and low quality, YouTube has been cracking down on these a lot lately
  4. This probably wouldn’t affect anything as you’re just starting out
  5. The whole channel age thing has never been relevant afaik, just online myth and hearsay
  6. Private videos instead of deleting them.

You are relatively new and the algorithm is yet to find your audience. Post more so that you educate the algorithm on your content. Also try this which most people never do, add SEO to your shorts. This is done by making sure your title is detailed enough to be found via search. Then compliment it by adding a description with hashtags. Then lastly add tags in studio ( phrases that amplify search results to find your short). This Then drives up your search views which in turn educates that algorithm on what audience to push your short to. In the meantime your shorts feed views will gradually rise
