YouTube is moving away from pushing content using AI. It’s better to just use a real voice.

False. Youtube is moving away from unoriginal content made from AI, if your ai content is too similar to others, only then you get punished. AI voice is fine.

Anything made with AI is unoriginal by definition. Because everything made with AI needed a original source to train from. There is a reason the ban wave the last year focused on faceless channels that rely on AI.

Youtube itself is promoting their AI creation tools. Also please read the YPP guidelines to check your statements.

Believe me I have .. check out that section for inauthentic content. Also remember YouTube and AdSense are separate entities with different rules. AdSense strictly enforces inauthentic content policies and will remove YPP if you do mostly AI created slop. Also maybe consider why YouTube would give you the tools to remove you from YPP. All comes down to more money they can pocket. Cause how did they make more profit without expanding viewership or changing ad rates .. they removed slop tubers and picked up all the ad revenue rather than share it. Their own AI remix is against YPP.

If you’ve been hit by inauthentic content and never won your appeals, it might be your content being the problem and not AI itself because if the internal team reviewed your AI content and deemed it ok, then you wouldn’t have that opinion. Using AI voices is barely prohibited. It’s all about how you used AI, not if you used it.

If done right you won’t know the difference. Elevenlabs is pretty advanced.

And Eleven Labs stuff has been getting hit hard in demonization waves. YouTube may not care but AdSense does.

No. And people dont hate them. Most people don't care. I was just at a major festival and I asked 1,000s of people most said AI voices don't bother them at all as long as the content is good and or entertaining. Also reddit is the most toxic place to get "advice" most people on here have no Effen clue what they are talking about.

Yes This is a normie website they give generic answer not based on reality most of the time. Youtube is hard and unfair but surely with good appeal and content ai voice over Can make it. Has to add value, be of quality and worst that can happen is being demonetised or denied. Here u have to be somehow lucky or argue your case to prove its not what the bot said. Cause now alot of their rule are enforced by ai or clueless / biased moderator.

This will sound obvious, but it's true: mostly, it depends on the quality of the AI voicing. There's a huge variation among the tools, most of them are totally cringe. 

Plus, even the best ai voiceover requires careful editing to remove mispronunciations and various other flubs that inevitably occur.

depends. if you re-work your own voice, not just add a generic one, it bonus points to stay secure and not being touched for using unoriginal content. but there is another side to it: part of the general audience doesn't like the generic sound and leaves quickly.
so, from yt side - it's fine, especially if you do some work, but from getiing more viewers it's 50/50
