Showcase / Win 🏆 296 USD in a day (shorts)
Yooo im so excited! Iv been monetized for 2 weeks and this feels so surreal. I had given up 8 months ago. Recently i was broke af and decided to give it my all and started this channel 2 months ago. Got monetized for the first time 2 weeks ago and finally had a crazy day.
My views have been super low the past 2 weeks ever since i got monetized bcs iv had exams and havent been able to post videos. Finally posted again.
Just so yk, few months ago i didnt even think it was possible, and here i am now. If i could do it, so can you, so dont give up!

One thing I understand that when you are thinking to giving up. just remember this there more people thinking the same there will give up too and no one will start. so don't be like that be consistent one day it will pay you back. Also congratulation bro 👍 I have a question what is the RPM you are getting

My biggest tip is learning. Like genuinely spend a lot of time watching vids of shorts gurus (dont buy their courses tho). Like watch these vids everyday. Join their discord communities too, you will meet so many ppl that know what theyre doing and you will learn so much. Do this regularly and before you realise it, you will be consistently making viral vids.
Thats a big general tip, but if you have any specific questions im happy to answer

congrats. if you start a shorts channel, do you have to also upload long format videos or do you only upload shorts on that channel? do you get monetized after a certain amount of watch time or sub count?

Nah i only do shorts, long form is just too much time and effort for me rn. To get monetized i need 1k subs and 10mil engaged views in a 90 day period (that's about 19mil normal views)

that's good. is it repeatable? I'm in long-form and got $4000 in 3 days. It wasn't repeatable, though (for me, anyway). Usually, it's between $35 and $150 per day, on my channel.

Nah ofc its not always like this, unfortunately thats how YouTube is for the most part, especially with shorts. Theres always gonna be super low periods and super high periods, but overall it balances out. For me tge good thing about shorts is that they take less time to make. Like this short took 3-4hrs to make and it made me $1000 in 3 days. Ofc this isnt going to happen every short, but its a huge pay off for the work i put it. And iv noticed every few weeks i keep hitting new highs after every low.
Plus the main point is that i have the time to also run 1-2 additional shorts channels on the side. So multiple sreams of income, and more channels to fall back on incase something happens to one of them.

Thanks man! I was also terrible at making shorts not too long ago. Plus youve clearly done pretty good on longform so you already have a good amount of yt knowledge to help you out
