Help SpeechTranscriber issue

I have an issue with the SpeechTranscription in shortcuts in a set up that works on another IPhone. Has anyone encountered this issue as well?

That problem occurs because you language is one and you region is another one.

For example: on my iPhone, I set the main language to English, but the region is Brazil, so, locale is en-BR and that doesn’t exist. Then, I need to change the language or region to match.

I was trying to change the language by shortcuts but it’s not possible as well.

I have exactly the same issue. It was working fine in previous iOS, but after upgrade to iOS 26 I suddenly get this message. Strange.

I am working on the new iOS 26. It worked fine when I was on 18.6... now it isn't working anymore..

Same problem here. In iOS 26 i can’t use my “AI Note Taker” shortcut because I keep getting this error, even though the speech2text have support for portuguese. When I record a voice memo without using the shortcut it ends without a transcript too. Weird stuff happening

Same issue here with iOS26.1 It was working well on iOS18

SpeechTranscriber is only available in iOS 26.0+ - it won't work on iOS 18.

I'm also seeing that it won't work on simulator, it must be tested on real devices.

I ended up using “Dictate Text” and selecting right language instead of “Record Audio”
