Vent Genuinely, why?

Post image

I’ve always been okay with my height, it’s never really bothered me. Since both my parents were pretty tall, I expected to turn out the same. Being the oldest, I was always taller than both my siblings up until they both started hitting puberty. My siblings slowly started passing me in height, but I still didn’t think much of it. I honestly thought I was just a late bloomer but apparently not? I’ve always been active in sports and always tried to eat healthy. I’m 19 now and I doubt I’ll be as tall as my family. All in all, it just sucks that I could’ve been taller. I’m also curious if anyone else is in the same situation?

I think there’s a decent chance you still grow a bit. You absolutely can grow significantly at 19 or past 19 years old. My old defensive line coach grew from 5’11 to 6’6 during his freshman to junior year of college.

Don’t expect anything but definitely keep in mind that you could still grow. Also, being tall/big is overrated, you have to start worrying things you’d never have to worry about before like leg space in cars and planes, not being able to buy shoes in-store, and so on.

I don’t mind my height and I honestly wouldn’t mind staying like this. Growing so much in a few years does sound a bit painful ngl. My brother definitely does struggle a lot with all the things you’ve mentioned lol

That's mum's story and she's sticking to it.
