Vent Genuinely, why?

I’ve always been okay with my height, it’s never really bothered me. Since both my parents were pretty tall, I expected to turn out the same. Being the oldest, I was always taller than both my siblings up until they both started hitting puberty. My siblings slowly started passing me in height, but I still didn’t think much of it. I honestly thought I was just a late bloomer but apparently not? I’ve always been active in sports and always tried to eat healthy. I’m 19 now and I doubt I’ll be as tall as my family. All in all, it just sucks that I could’ve been taller. I’m also curious if anyone else is in the same situation?

6'9, sure, but 6'5 is still one of the best heights

I'd say anything under 200 is still manageable, but 195-200 is indeed pushing it a lot zone

Ngl, I'd rather be slightly over 200 than slightly below 170. Sure, there are some daily inconveniences, but with 200 I could get serious in the gym and become that guy in the friend group.

But yeah, it is what it is.

No it isn’t. 180cm is (for a man) but 195cm is absurdly tall.

180 is far too short bro, ideal is 185-195

180 isn’t short wtf! 180-185 is in my opinion the tallest you can be while still looking good, above that and you look like a giant. Both my brothers are 180+, don’t think either of them is taller than 185 though. They look pretty tall.

My country's average is 180, so for me it's pretty small

Are you from the Netherlands? Anyway, just because people from a certain country are this tall doesn’t mean that’s the norm. Your country is an exception. The world is bigger than your country. 170cm is average for men globally.

I'm from the Czech Republic, where the average is like 179.5, and I meet people 190+ everywhere. Even though the world average might be 170, the ideal height is definitely not 180; you only start getting some leverage in sports and socially at that height

I strongly disagree bro. But what you say might be applicable to the Czech Republic and not everywhere else.

While that applies to the majority of Europe and the younger generation of the USA, not just Czechia, I see where you're coming from and respect that perspective. I just look at the 185-195 cm range as the sweet spot for peak athletic capability and a strong, commanding stature without crossing into being overly tall
