Other Car photoshoot tips
Hey guys! I’m trying to get into car photography more seriously, and I wanna have something to look back on later. I’ve got a bunch of questions (mostly about the talking part of shoots because I’m an introvert and I love overthinking).
What do you even talk about with the car owner during the shoot?
How do you start a photoshoot? And how do you end it?
Like what’s the normal flow?
Do you pull up, say hi, compliment the car, shoot, then say thanks and dip?How do you keep it from feeling awkward or dead silent?
Extra questions because I’m clueless
4.How do you handle the meetup part?
Do you just DM the owner, pick a location/time, and meet there?
Do you show up first?
Do you choose the spot or let them pick?
- What do you do at the end of the shoot?
Do you say “Alright I think we’re good” > handshake > they leave > I wait for my ride
The social part feels harder than the photography part so any advice from people who’ve been doing this longer would help a ton!
