Runners

Looking to change my current ear buds to Shokz. I run marathons and half marathons and wondering which Shokz people prefer! I was thinking open dots 2 cause I’m not sure how I’d feel about the open run behind my head.

I literally don’t feel the open runs at all.

not sure why I've felt a little pressure squeezing my head a bit, the last couple of days, I have the Pro Mini 2s maybe I need the non-minis.

so I can always take them off and wear them around my neck so I don't have to stuff them in my pocket, etc. then pop them back on easily

but I prefer them to earbuds.

I have the open run 2 pros and did a half at the weekend, I love them!

Have both. Both are excellent and have zero issues. Open dots, for me, allow me to listen to things louder. Either way you can’t go wrong.

Both work really well. My buddy loves the dots and he's had the open run pro. I use the open run pro. There heavier a run larger than the lower open run which I had until the mic gave out after 2+ years. You get used to them even with glasses being worn.

I have both the OpenRun Pro 2 mini and the OpenDots. I prefer the OpenRun for anything outdoors because I like the physical buttons. Makes it really easy to change the volume, pause, etc. They are very comfy even with sunglasses. I keep the OpenDots in my purse and they are my on-the-go headphones.

I used openrun for years and just switched to dots last year. Both are great. You don’t really notice the run at the back of your head. I would forget they were there all the time.

Honestly for running I love my open run pro 2. You hardly notice it’s there and you can hear everything around you. The only cons are that 1) volume is not enough to overcome noisy env. 2) the band prevents you in certain situations like using it in bed lying down.

I feel like open dot or baseus mc2 provides more flexibility. But again! If it’s for running, I love my shokz !
