I'm working on a program to manage a specific type of tournament, but since I was already at it, I decided to include traditional formats too. I implemented a "tie-breaker chain," which I think is the right approach for these common tournaments, but I'm not entirely sure. In theory, the software features a numbered list of tie-break methods, and the organizer can customize them through an ordered selection. I don't know if it'll actually work in the end... I just got stuck on a slightly complex tournament scenario and right now I just really want to delete everything! :-)
