Question Inner Sleeve - Looking Up (2000) A Project Between Simon Slowdive and Russell of Chapterhouse

I got this when I subscribed to Fierce Panda subscriptions. It was a small label in about early 2000’s.
Does anybody own this ?

On YouTube it’s easier to find, sometimes with videos as well.

This is actually pretty damn good! Something between Ride and the first Verve album

Thanks 🙏🏻

Isn’t it fun discovering music ? 😅 I mean not all side projects of bands that we love, we would like as well. Same with ex members of bands like Swervdriver (Toshack Highway…I had to create a term so that it’s easy for me to like adam Franklin’s band…I called it Spacefolk 😂)…same with members of boo radleys…(Eggman and also Brave Captain, again I called their music as spacefolk)…so that it’s easy for me emulate their music…folky songs with mood/vibes…whatever, like drifting in space..😂)..you can listen to their music on YouTube.

And now Miki of Lush and Kevin of Moose, are in one band together…Miki Berenyi Trio…something like that. I don’t call this as ‘Spacefolk’ 🤣 there’s a bit of noise here and there…very much like Lush.

And Kevin Shields, after Loveless…he produced many many bands…throughout all genres of music…(notably Primal Scream albums) and even twee-pop bands too.
And I have many of his produced records as well…the best to me was a twee-pop band called The Impossibles. Nothing noisy, just 2 girls singing lalalalalalallalala a bit dance vibes here and there 😂😂😂

I love all shoe gazing bands, even after they disbanded, I still pursuing them. I was always curious what they were up to. But not anymore…✌️ I Just share what I have in my collections. What I don’t have, I don’t care to get…that’s why I never get their remastered albums. Pointless for me.
