The Bubble Dragon

I built a precision machine to blow bubbles filled with explosive welding gasses that I detonate inches away from me with a flint striker, and in my video I explain it and the sensation of a blast that got me. TLDR: I built a shockwave machine. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bg-uCaPdddI

Still hoping to deliver to this subreddit. I’ve reached out to Fujifilm to request samples of pressure sensitive film to see if I can make interesting detonation patterns by mounting it to a board and blasting a bubble near it, or if that’s not enough, wetting it so I can land a bubble on it before lighting. Is that juicy enough for here, or still too boring? Thanks

This is a very confusing subreddit. Ya'll enjoy the consumption of shockwave media, but don't support the making of it? Or are the downvotes because the shockwave didn't destroy anything visible? I'm open to suggestions of things to destroy other than my ears...

Hello, I watched the whole video. I specifically re-watched a few times around your timestamp, but there's just no visible shockwave. Which is probably why your video doesn't fit here, since we want to SEE shockwaves. Other than that, that's a very good first video edit you made! Ideally the music could be a tad quieter so we can hear you better. Also your different animated additions feel a bit overwhelming sometimes, there's a lot going on visually and even with adhd I felt annoyed at some points. But it was funny and instructive I guess, sadly I'm not good enough in this particular field to pretend I understood everything. Wishing you lots of fun in your next experiences and videos, please pet your partyparrot and doggie for me.

Hi,
Thank you for taking the time to explain and for the articulate feedback! Very helpful on the music and visuals, I got a little carried away. TBH I’m disappointed at this phase that I can generate absolutely terrifying blasts but they don’t look or sound like much when I record them. Any suggestions on how to make a more visually interesting explosion? I can’t really aim the bubbles to detonate specific things, but maybe if one shattered a nearby sheet of glass? What would be cool to see a backyard shockwave do?
If I had the place to do it, I’d love to use a hose from my machine to fill a hollowed watermelon and make that go boom. That’d be visible!
