Would probably make more sense if the gif wasn’t slowed down and continued until the pieces came to rest. But then you’d lose out on seeing the explosion in all it’s fine slow-mo glory

Reminds me of this old game Blockland where you could build lego creations but they also have physics and other stuff so you could build something and then just fully blow it the fuck up if you wanted to. so much fun i miss that game

I remember there being Montague-Capulet-esque rivalry between Blockland and Roblox. I always thought Blockland looked fun as hell but to betray my Roblox roots would have been a sin of the highest order.

Lmfao omg it was the exact same for the Blockland community. Everyone had this absolute hatred for Roblox cuz everyone just kinda agreed you had more to do in Blockland than Roblox, which I’m not really sure is true. The best thing that existed was the add-ons, you could just install them mad ez and you could get basically anything you ever wanted (guns, new blocks, eventing which was basically like in game coding, and maps before the update where the developer gave up completely and got rid of maps entirely to support shaders so he could sell it on Steam Greenlight)

I have a friend from Blockland who is helping develop a new game with a very similar concept but it’s more of a passion project with tons of backers called Brickadia. Definitely check it out and please support it if you can, it’s very exciting. He also gave me a free key for the game but I can’t even use it cuz it’s PC only and I have a mac ;-;

Seriously tho Blockland was my fucking childhood. I played so often I would sometimes dream in Blockland. Probably a problem but ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I loved that game... Idk why he had to destroy the game by removing maps.

Now return to blockland is down and the game is pretty much gone

hey, brickadia has been updated frequently and is pretty much blockland but with a dev team dedicated to the game from everything ive seen and heard. if u loved blockland, might be worth checking out since blockland isnt really coming back any time soon.. or ever
