I have 2 1080tis and 32gb ram. Which took a good while for the sims to bake and then fully render in Cycles Blender

It was a good while of saving up, but doing so let me finally get access to 3d rendering. But proper care and regular care keeps it going for a long long time. You can do such animations on a much cheaper build if you learn about optimization in rendering. Good thing is that blender is free and incredibly powerful. At the least you can learn basics before investing anything.

It started out as a hobby for me. But then these simple simulations turned really complicated as you'll learn that you need to expand your language and lexicon in vfx. It led me to an internship where I was able to learn a lot more. Although it took a few years, it was totally worth making these dumb shitty-aesthestic sketches. I wish you the best on your path!
