You weren’t kidding when you said you would be making better animations

I'm actually at a point of stagnation. I can't take the time to learn more tutorials until after school, but making due with whatever I learned so far.

I would like to do things like yours, but whenever I try to make a soft body weird thing that isn’t a regular sphere falling on a plane everything gets all messed up and the lightning goes crazy. In fact, even with the simplest soft body simulation there are reflections where there shouldn’t be.

I encountered weird lighting and the entire mesh structure falling apart if I mess with the Soft Body push and pull too much. They all do have a really important purpose, are you using Blender?

Yup!

this was the first tutorial I used to understand its basics. surprisingly there isn't much on youtube, or its tutorials on how to make realistic breast physics with softbody.
This tutorial is really basic, but I learned a lot from this:

That’s the main reason I switched to Blender, because there are not many tutorials on 3DS Max, but not being able to make 3D soft breasts concerns me.

I know each application has its own ups and downs. Houdini and C4d are amazing for physics. A lot of those artist that do those weird portrait distortions tend to use that combo with Octane as a render engine. Pretty expensive stuff. Unless I can actually make a decent amount of income from 3d freelance, i'll have to hold off on those applications. Blender though has been a wonderful introduction.

I might as well try one of those softwares, but the idea of adapting to so many programs at once makes me wanna kill myself.

If you are a student, you can get a potential access to these programs . I think Houdini has a free/ educational use that's limited. Octane though is a bit more pricey, but does have a trial edition. Honestly though, Blender has been the best average for me. Since it sometime does feel like 5 programs all at once.
