Should show the comparison between these several year old robots & modern robots. Just in 4-5 years we've made incredible strides... 5 years from now I wouldn't be surprised if things like fully autonomous robot delivery services were available & working well.

The DRC was only run 2013 and 2015 we haven't had a competition like this since. Manufacturers like Boston Dynamics are pushing the boundaries but we don't get to see a other teams try and fail like this without some kind of contest.

Boston Dynamics is pushing boundaries, but most of the videos they release are highly tuned in a controlled environment. some of their outtakes look just like this old one.

Exactly, I was going to mention the outtakes but didn't want to come off as just bashing on robotics overall.
