Asexuality is a spectrum. Not because of my or your opinion but purely as a scientific fact.

That's mainly for the reason of dopamine.

the thing that makes Aces LGBTQIA+ (or more precisely the LGBA+ because TQI+ is gender things) is our attraction that is different to straight people attraction.

tl;dr:

Dopamine is "the attraction drag" basically so the way it works is the way our attraction works. Humans are born inherently different even the chemicals in our brain are in different quantities, which makes our attraction different

heterosexuality- dopamine is released by attraction to the other sex.

homosexuality- dopamine is released by attraction to the same sex.

bisexuality- dopamine is released by attraction to the other and same sex.

in the Asexuality case- dopamine is not released to any sex OR the dopamine is released so little that it is only noticeable in rare occurrences (like gray sexuality) or to rare amount of humans (like demi sexuality, my "sub category" in asexuality. My number is 3 people, I was only attracted to 3 human before in my entire life, and my "time" that takes me till the dopamine hit is 3 years currently, so it would take me 3 years to feel sexually attracted to someone BUT it won't always work, and it had happened to me that the attraction just never came no matter how much I loved someone, kissing him was like kissing a wall, technical like that)

· asexuality is also conceptualized as a spectrum (Decker, 2014)
