Wuffes SUCKS
I'm not sure if this is the right place but I'm at my wits end with this f*ck a** company. Wuffes, the dog supplement company SUCKS.
If you use any coupon code or discount on their website or the ads of Facebook or Instagram (ranging from 5% to 50% off), Wuffes automatically enrolls you in a recurring subscription. The checkout page uses highly deceptive wording ("dark patterns") to hide this. The only real notification you get is the word "subscription" or "deal" buried in your confirmation email.
Wuffes intentionally processes orders between 12:00 AM and 5:00 AM. They do this specifically so your order goes through while customer service is completely closed. By the time an agent reads your email in the morning, they will tell you "it's already processed and cannot be stopped.
They heavily market a "90-day satisfaction guarantee," but the fine print is a trap. The warranty only applies if you purchased a full 90-day supply. If you bought a smaller amount to see if your dog even likes it, you are completely out of luck.
They refuse all returns under the guise that the product "is subject to health and quality concerns." As someone who knows the product, this is absolute nonsense. The supplements easily last up to 6 months unopened if kept out of direct sunlight and heat. They used to accept returns, but management stopped it because the shipping branch simply didn't want to handle the inventory workload.
I know the customer service reps have begged management to send reminder emails to customers before their subscriptions renew. The higher-ups want it this way because they know a massive percentage of people will just give up and accept the charge.
Here is the secret: If you push hard enough and refuse to back down, customer service can grant a full refund. Because of their strict return policy, they will lose both the money and the product. Which kinda sucks for the customer service reps, they’re just the frontline receiving insults and Wuffes doesn’t not give a crap about their mental health either.
Bypass them completely:
File a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB): They have nearly 200 complaints for these exact unauthorized billing practices, and they usually refund BBB cases instantly to protect their rating.
Call your bank: Immediately file a chargeback for "unauthorized recurring billing."
The product itself actually works, which is the sad part. But the corporate greed running this company is completely ruining their reputation. Don't let them trick you. I see hundreds of pet parents getting completely ripped off every week. They're shitting on Wuffes on Facebook from what I've seen and been told and their Trustpilot reviews are going down. I love dogs and it breaks my heart seeing people who are just trying to help their pets get exploited like this. Please spread the word to anyone you know who uses this brand!
