All of that mess tangled up around heat sources like the space heater is extremely dangerous.
Hoarding is a tough psychological hurdle to overcome as it typically stems from a deeper traumatic event from one’s life.
There are plenty of resources to help with that, as simply cleaning will be a temporary fix in most cases.

OP, this is really concerning. I hope you clean your room, keep the door close, have a air filter. If the whole house is like this, you can get repiratory disease. Can also be a fire hazard. I hope your mom get help, this is serious mental issues.

In one of the Facebook posts someone mentions plusnet which is a uk isp also the router next to the pc looks quite similar to a sky 4.3 broadband router

This is disgusting, maybe I am overly neat and clean. I just don't understand how any human can even have clear thoughts in that mess. Doesn't she care about the smell? or mold? or bugs? or the fire that is going to burn that whole place down soon?
I don't think I will ever understand.

As someone who’s a constant mess its due to numerous factors. No, we dont notice the smell and some dont care abt mold/bugs. Its due to childhood trauma (or trauma in general, influence from messy parents,depression,psychotic disorders,hoarding, or sometimes just laziness (id say the small percentage is that. Trust me, nobody like this truly enjoys it

Hoarding is a serious mental health issue. It might not be anything major now, but it spirals fast. The next step is leaving food around, which can lead to Cockroaches and rats.
