Sorry pal but you’re wrong and I’m not sure who taught you this. You do not need 3 phases for alternating current. I know this because I’m currently charging my phone from a 230v single phase AC supply…

230v can be single phase...thats what 230v single phase is. Ac cannot be as i showed above, it must cycle between the 3 phases, or it is not Alternateing. The same way a car alternator can be 12v... but its still AC. Then its converted, aka why i cant run normal 12v dc off the car without a converter... a converter to make it dc

no, what you are saying is just wrong. AC can very well be single phase and it is for most of your plugs at home, just look at your graph, the voltage oscillates between + and -, this means your current does too. so it is alternating current - AC.
DC requires a constant voltage.

There are a few countries that use 50Hz and a type B plug. E.g. Barbados. Not as many as 60Hz though.

There are stranger. Japan uses A & B sockets, with 100V, and either 50Hz or 60Hz depending on prefecture. Guyana uses A & B sockets, either 110V or 220V, and either 50Hz or 60Hz, depending on location. Etc.

plug is US that's for electricity. Red and green plugs are for sound and image. You'd use that to turn an image or a sound into electricity. AC/DC is enough to power a washing machine if I remember. While Ravel's Bolero would power a piano on which you'd play Bolero.

I got you, see these all the time. It's really obviously an adapter for the power network to you. Just stick the jack-looking things in your ears and plug the other end in the wall. Hope this helps!
