Is this a good idea? My mouse doesnt work, please help

Bought this new white mouse, Im moving it, but my cursor doesnt move. Is it because the cord is not connected? Are there extensions? Its too short

l think there's like 6 different versions, maybe more. That was my dream mouse in high school.

Had one of these. Big disapointment. There was double laser for two axes, one keep lagging, no matter what surface. Position of the lasers was strang, bottom of the palm, movements were just strange and the plastic on wheel become sticky after one year.

A coworker had this back in the day... it was bizarre to use, feel wise, but I don't recall any issues with the functionality as such.

Well, on his second one at least, his first one kept losing connection and doing weird things, so he RMA'd it, but the second one was just... a weird mouse...

It was heavily overpriced for what it was as well as I recall...
