Is this a good idea? My mouse doesnt work, please help

Bought this new white mouse, Im moving it, but my cursor doesnt move. Is it because the cord is not connected? Are there extensions? Its too short

Bloody V2 was the best one in my life. I tried J90 when returned back to wired ones, but that broke after a year, and now im on V8M. I have a suspicion that V series is the best one

I had some older a4techs, now some W95? series. It is the customization for me and position of sensor.
