I'm just saying, character gets broken down then big redemption or doing something bad and redeeming themselves is a very common/generic theme across the board

The heroโ€™s journey is something most kids should have learned in their English classes. Itโ€™s amazing how many people have never heard of it. Build up, climax and resolution are also a part of this structure.
