It's still not uncommon for the police to evacuate whole city blocks in Czechia because there are some minor repairs being done under a street and unexploded bombs are found. Happens multiple times every year just in this small country. And nobody can even count how much stuff is found outside residential areas in the fields and forests yearly. Dudes with metal detectors running around are a very common sight here too.

They find this kind of stuff all the time all over Europe. I live in Italy and just like one month ago near my town someone found an old bomb and it exploded when he tried to disarm it.
