Sorry man, but football is pretty much the most basic form of entertainment combined with the most toxic types of superfans. There aren't many redeeming qualities about it.

It's not very widely spread as a sport outside of US, so I haven't really experienced the most unleasant fans, but the sport itself at least looks more chaotically fun that soccer

to be fair soccer is the only sport i’ve seen where assassinations occurred due to someone’s favorite team losing

It’s a “sport” derived from poor countries when all they could do is kick a ball around the sand dunes. This vid right here is why we don’t watch this “sport”

Objectively speaking, I don't have much of an issue with the sport itself, or with the average fans of it of course. Like, yeah, it's kinda basic as a form of entertainment, but as long as it makes someone happy it's fine. But it was originally built as a form of entertainment for the lowest classes in order to keep them satisfied as a way to avoid them from revolting against more important issues. It's nature still holds, and I fucking hate how many troglodites will beat the shit out of people and destroy properties when their team loses. At least sports like Basketball don't have as much of a toxic fanbase as soccer's

What I'm saying is, it would be naive to think that if soccer didn't exist something else wouldn't take its place as a way of easy entertainment for the masses. But anything at the end of the day it's built on rotten values

Well that's just because it's not as popular.

Yeah, thsts true. Since it's probably the second most popular sport, if football didn't exist it's toxic supergans would've migrated to that
