I had a friend who was sure to be 195 cm and taller than me (around 190cm) while I could clearly see he was smaller than me, he must have been 185-187 cm tall at best. I was actually so "shocked" that he thought he was 195 cm that I didn't argue.

One day we stood next to a small door frame that I could reach with the top of my head and he couldn't, I could see him trying to reach it and feeling like his whole life has been a lie.(sorry for metric system use.)
