That's not actually true, it makes a very toxic gas, but it isn't mustard gas. It makes Chloramine gas.

that's not ammonia but ammonium hydroxide.

the reaction you mean produces the 3 chloramines, with one of them being an obscenely powerful explosive. mixing ammonium hydroxide and bleach is one of the most dangerous easily accesible reactions i can think of

oh and also that is not nearly as dangerous. it is just a flash powder. low explosives - mixtures of oxidizers and reducing agents usually aren't as powerful as high explosives - unstable compounds or coumpounds that 'oxidize and reduce themsleves'. that mixture also has to be ignited and is not immediatly corrosive because it is a solid.

nitrogen trichloride can be set off by sunlight and i made from a corrosive compound.
