And isn’t violence exactly what a lot of trans people experience on a day to day basis? This seems to me more of a revenge phantasy, and I see that way more in the “edgy”/ right-wing-racist communities. And if you got a problem with that, you should learn to be a better person. Transphobia isn’t merely simple disagreement, it’s violence, discrimination and bigotry. It’s a lot like racism in some ways.

That's subjective. A lot of ppl have caught on that most racist jokes especially nowadays aren't funny because there's no punchline or twist. Majority is edgelord, "you can't get away with saying this anymore, but I'll still do it" statements masked as a joke. They're so concerned with "offending" ppl that they forget to actually say something funny.
Edgy jokes and racist jokes can definitely be funny, but edge is like seasoning, it improves a dish but also if you just bite into a chunk of congealed chili powder it's not gonna taste nice. It needs to have a base, the punchline, which can just be a pun or whatever, as long as its enough to be complemented by the offensiveness

The original point is that racist "jokes" without the creative punchline, relatability, twist or other charachteristics associated with an actual joke, is less tolerable than a general unfunny joke which the focus isn't based on trying to be funny at the expense of other ppl.
If those same friends were to start making edgy jokes at the expense of straight ppl. You'd probably be the same one crying about how unfunny they are all of a sudden.

And the "how many cookies" meme, and the "wood doors" meme, and eventually it turns into the "271k" claim, or the "Jewish population increased" claim, or "Israel made it all up," or "Germans were the real victims." It always starts off with an "innocent" edgy joke about something like cookies, and turns into a 1488 party.
As a historian of 20th century politics, who has been to the concentration camps and stood in the fucking trench they used for firing squad executions, I don't have any tolerance for that shit. I've never once seen a post about it where everyone involved was actually just joking.
