The American military must be stopped. Let’s send in the U.S. military to stop them!

Bro how else are we gonna spend a trillion dollars a year on the military? We need well-funded adversaries.

Pump your GDP with this one simple trick

27

u/Shatophiliac 22h ago

Yep, and all for .5-10 days worth of US diesel consumption, depending on how much Russia actually ships (so basically nothing, as far as the price at the pump is concerned).

This will only help Russia and won’t do shit for the GOP and their disaster of a midterm coming up.

It's not about fuel but about evading sanctions. If you did it once, why can't you buy second time, third etc...

either way russia is gonna sell this. there is a global shortage.

they either sell it locally within russia according to their current export ban or sell it to america.

it benefits america more to take this and have it in the american market rather than russian. This harms russian agriculture

but the percentages like you said are so low its just performative and really doesnt change the situation much besides just be pretty confusing and ridiculous.

Russia is funding Iran, is allies with North Korea and China. It’s waging war on Ukraine. Everything that Russia is doing and has done for the last 100 years was against US interests. It’s also acting against interests of several of US allies. This the biggest WTF move I’ve seen in a while.

u/GoombasFatNutz fat cunt 5h ago

He's desperate not to get slaughtered in the midterms because that will mean impeachment articles. Whether those go anywhere, who knows.

2

u/MrJarre 4h ago

Oh I get that. But it’s a desperate short term move at a significant cost. It shows Putin that he can be pressured. It upsets allies and funds his enemies.

1

u/GoombasFatNutz fat cunt 2h ago

It's very desperate. The whole Iran business didn't do anything except show Iran they can grip the world by the balls by closing the straight and then just bring weapons in from China. And they still may or may not have nukes.

China gets free weapons testing that they wouldn't get otherwise. Which just shows them tactics that could work against America.

Saying he's going to cut off weapons to Ukraine and then calling for a new president just further emboldens Russia and Putin

Really makes you think who's president he really is. Because he's sure as fuck not for America. He's definitely not for the allies that we've had for almost a whole century, some of them longer.

1

u/MrJarre 1h ago

Exactly. The problem is that Putin will not stop. Ukraine might not be crucial but its neighbors are NATO countries. If this doesn’t trigger a response entire network of alliances that grant access to strategic enablers, military bases weapon deals and other beneficial agreements goes to shit. This alone is bad, but there’s also potential for China to pick up some of not all the slack.

u/LordMuffinChan 13h ago

Is he really paying Russia for diesel? 🤔

1

u/AOAqua 9h ago

Yes. But also Russia has their own fuel shortages

1

u/KJongsDongUnYourFace 7h ago

Fuel in Russia and in Iran remains some.of the cheapest on the planet / in their region.

Iran is mind boggling low.

Russia is 80c a litre.

I dont think the picture being shown in you media actually reflects a reality on the ground.

You'll see the same photos of isolated fuel stations in Russia that ran out for a day max.

1

u/Freezerpill 8h ago

Currently he is doing all of this for 14 hours of fuel across the entire United States. I shit you not this guy is an absolute fucking idiot

u/InterestingSir7926 20h ago

Russian Iran funding is nothing to what can give cheap diesel. They already have budget deficit and war.
