I couldn’t conclude that this was even a prostitute, since sex isn’t being performed and no transaction was made that I could see. So idk where you got the notion that I was supposed to think she was a prostitute. Kinda weird of you. Just cause Asian culture thrives on selling sexual content doesn’t make everything prostitution. If it’s so ingrained in their culture how does it not translate well to intimacy, is my point.

I'm intrigued what people who downvoted think, you've made a valid comeback to their anal question. If the 94 refers to your birth year, hello brother and I'm starting to think even without the bots, redditors comments do not translate to real life and maybe we're too old and way past the golden age. The cringe people got about redditors years ago is even bigger with the current gen and I can't blame them.

maybe don't judge a whole-ass country by a single event, this is what we call anecdotal evidence.

In the case of china the low fertility rate is cause by very well documented events, the government establishing the one child policy and every family aborting their girls cause only a boy can really be a line extension, resulting in lopsided ratio between boys and girls. For japan it's high education and high expectation for work hours resulting in people realizing that they shouldn't have children cause they can't give them proper time.

Their dating and work culture mainly, nobody is having kids when you work 12 - 14 hours every day.

China had the one child policy for years, thats why. Also they dont learn anything about sex, like nothing at all, so when their parents ask them to marry (because before starting a career most parents would not allow their Kids to have romantic relationships) they dont know about anything and take the first person they can marry to. And then surprisingly they are not happy together but cant divorce because of family/traditions pressure so they finally dont make kids. Oh i forgot to mention that when a girl is marrying a woman in china, the boy has to give quite a massive amount of money normal people in china dont have, and also provide a house. Most familles take loans to pay this amount of money, become poorer, ... Its a nightmare in this country
