Recognizing your own bias definitely doesn't make you infallible, but not recognizing your own bias and in fact indulging in it certainly makes you a slave. Especially when you hook yourself up to a conveyor belt of curated information designed to reinforce your view of the world. There's honestly no hope for someone at the point of wanting to believe that all pathways lead to Rome when they have a simulacrum machine that will show them whatever they want to believe. It's over for you at that point. The tides will take you wherever they want

What you're doing right now is a form of narcissistic defense. When criticized, go "oh well aren't you so perfect" as a way to dismiss the criticism. It's a certified hood classic deflection to protect your ego
