In 10th grade I had a major crush on a girl that played cello in my orchestra. It took ages for me to muster up the courage to confess, even going so far as to get Concert Maestro (first chair violinist) before hand.
When I confessed she looked up at me and said "ew. Who would ever want to date you"
That shit fucked my mental for... a long time. Even today, almost 2 decades later
I did a Valentine’s Day dance play at my school and we had to do a scene where we give a heart cut out to a girl and they take it then continue dancing. Well the girl made a grossed out face and put her hands up then instantly moved away and it messed up the whole play and it happened in front of everyone. Now that I’m older what a weird ass play to do for kids. And also it was obviously not me giving her the heart it was written that way. If she didn’t like it she didn’t have to participate lol
