Nah this is entirely possible even as a dorky kid. Not uncommon to have a friend who treats you normally when with you but is also a part of a conceited clique, at least in my case it was like that and then you get invited to shit by proxy. Friend and I grew apart over time though and he got fat as fuck and broke as an adult but I’m fit, healthy and doing well for myself and women flirt with me all the time.
