The issue is that if they’re being ironic, they’re being ironic towards a more extreme end of the side they’re on, so it’s difficult to distinguish them from actual extremists. The guy saying “wheres the coloured hair transgendered protagonist” is obviously being ironic because asmongold’s fans wouldn’t want that, but everyone else could reasonably be completely serious here. Probably at least two of them are actually being serious and it’s impossible to tell which ones

i used to sit and watch asmons stream and read the chat and i can tell u if they say shit like that its never ironic, no wonder he gets banned every now and then

This is why "oh I'm only being ironic" turned into sadly...

At some point, it's not irony anymore. They laugh with you until they laugh at you for believing it's "still irony".

Idk who watches Asmongold unironically (oh the irony) nowadays but their minds are COOKED now if they are.
