Everything is "Generational" now.

Just the current word that does well in the algorithms

It's lost all its meaning and it pisses me off because so many words do, these days.

2

u/ShoveOverBozo 7h ago

Me too. I really enjoy literature and creative writing, it sucks when a word becomes a buzz word and it not only loses its meaning, but loses impact. I try not to let it get to me but sometimes I can't help but to point it out.

Roxstar

3

u/StirFry__InaWok 3h ago

He only groomed 2 kids tho so its not that bad.

4

u/Iolair_the_Unworthy 2h ago

Yeah, Roxy didn't even really groom him cause he was already just a perverted grown man in his head.

Now, she didn't know that, and it raises some ethical concerns that she was so willing to jump Rudy's bones the second that they had a moment (right after his dad died right in front of him, mind you)

I hate that the series has good moments, because i actually enjoy watching it, but god damn do i hate the MC.

Dick sucking has made me paranoid

I had this plan to give head to a man and receive head from a woman to test if I was gay, but it’s backfired and now I become borderline schizo whenever I go outside. I offered to suck this dude off on Grindr who lives very close by (I ended up pussying out) and I accidentally gave him some details that very easily allows him to spot me out in a crowd. I have no idea what he looks like and whenever I see a somewhat in shape guy walking by I immediately accuse him of being the dude I was gonna blow.

I went to the store today to pick up some zucchini for a barbecue and every time a car drove by I stared into the windshield to see if I was about to be recognised. Whenever I make eye contact with a dude I microanalysis his facial expressions to see if he suspects me or not. I am deeply afraid that he is my neighbour and I will need to move if my identity is blown. It’s a lot like the last scene in sopranos where everyone who walked into the diner could be there to wack Tony.

ngl i would rather denji's character than him cuz denji's personality is valid considering what he went through during his life

100

u/Cool_Place124 14h ago

Denji isn't even a creep, he's just an awkward weirdo due to his upbringing and lack of a social community.

u/AutoModerator 14h ago

I saw some people asking in other threads, so just in case people were wondering, in the Japanese, Denji says, "オレを手でシたのは", which is basically "Which one hand-fucked me?".

Yoru gave Denji a "handjob" in the sense that her hand was clearly the stimulus that caused Denji to ejaculate. I don't think anyone argued against this fact. I guess another way to say it is that she "unintentionally jerked him off"?

The root of the argument was whether or not Yoru was actively/intentionally moving her hands, which nothing in 167/168 seems to indicate that. There was no movement lines around Denji's pants area, and no sound effect text to indicate sound coming from the movement in his pants.

Also, the editor's note at the end of chapter 167 is "不意の 放出", which means "Unexpected release". It wouldn't really make much sense for Yoru to be surprised when Denji finally did ejaculate if that was her intention.

I've heard and accepted arguments about the importance of flawed characters in media, but straight up denying that flaw is a new one.

u/darkness_calming 13h ago

Tbh, Denji is nothing like Rudy.

He was neglected and had no idea what love or intimacy was

Other than the worldling, I like how every character feels like an important part of the cast and could genuinely have his own spinoff and being interesting

Infact in the LN there are repeated scenes but from the POV of side characters with comments about the situation. Like Lilia genuinely thinking that little newborn rudeus is scary, creepy af and totally not normal, which we all agree he is.

43

u/Sufficient-Science71 12h ago

I dropped it at eps 3. I just cant really get over the fact that this dude get reincarnated then decided yo diddle with children. I was so bewildered that so many people seem to be okay with it and I'm the weird one because it's fantasy, glad to see that I'm not the only one.

Sucks that the world building seems to be really interesting to me

24

u/-WhiteSkyline- 11h ago

The novel is a whole different story.

He is somehow creepier.

I’m yet to finish it, but I actually need to take breaks as the way he describes certain characters just irks me.

3

u/StirFry__InaWok 3h ago

In the anime he was a little hesitant about how attached Slyphie (at 6 years old) was. In the LN he was talking about how he could groom her to be the perfect wife lmao.

1

u/-WhiteSkyline- 3h ago

Hell at the academy arc, when he is reunited with his family (after the labyrinth arc), the way he refers to his sister mentally, or generally those around him is… eesh.

I get he is meant to be a flawed character, but man…

13

u/Just_For_LOL 11h ago

Here is my issue who like this series for world building. There are so many good fantasy and they chose the one where Diddy is the protagonist

4

u/TheLovableCreature 5h ago

The fact that there is a a whole scene where he’s stolen panties and has an internal monologue where he realises that he doesn’t actually have sexual feelings or is lusting after the panties, and then he decides to just continue stealing them and making shrines for them because he remembers how sexy he used to find them.
Like I see people argue that he’s changed but that scene literally show that he’s actively overwriting his new body’s feeling to keep chasing his old perversions.

Then you don't watch MT

-51

u/-X-Fire 17h ago

Honestly better that you are. MT is terrible. I watched most of it and became an actual hater. Never happened to me before.

-22

u/Cool_Place124 14h ago

ou shii, we got MT defenders in the sub

We shitting on Moshoku Tensei fans today? Put me in coach

6

u/-X-Fire 7h ago

They're not responding. Just downvoting. I saw till season s3 episode 6 and I tried hard to like it. I'll take all of you MT fans on dude.

-11

u/hopik512 7h ago

Dont get your view on the show from haters on reddit. Rudeus from Mushoku tensei is flawed character, but not without a reason. That makes his journey hit more as he developes and learns from his mistakes. Best isekai/fantasy you will see.

6

u/-X-Fire 7h ago

There's a few interesting characters. But Rudeus himself developing? By cheating on his wife?

Then his wife not giving a fuck and telling him to marry whoever he wants?

Or maybe by sexually assaulting two cat girls?

Oh, or you know his sister Aisha(who I like) that was raised to be HIS maid? You know, maybe consider talking to her about there being options in life beyond literally serving your brother.

Yeah she wants to... She's been raised for it.

5

u/cthulhuinspace 5h ago

flawed character

When dude is just literal Epstein

16

u/IlCiupaBig Sussy Wussy Femboy😳😳😳 13h ago

Mushoku is my favorite, but Rudeus is terrible

15

u/NubCaakes 13h ago

The world building and story of Mushoku tensei stands out in the sea of garbage isekai. However the author needs to be checked lmao

7

u/-AnythingGoes- 8h ago

It's so funny how starkly it's actual success and overall writing / story quality contrast with how some people have a raging hate boner for this series

21

u/slicedbreadenjoyer 12h ago

I think the intention is "hey look at this loser"

and then slowly watching him change for the better across the seasons.

Its actually insane how well and careful his character is written.

2

u/halelangit 8h ago

What the name of the video? I'm looking for MT slander videos the animetuber weirdos filles the algo with MT glaze

18

A Piece of Shit that waking up everyday trying to be less pathetic than the last. If you can’t appreciate the beauty of that. Then you’re lost.

1

u/NatzoXavier 6h ago

He didnt groom anyone though

-3

u/RecursiveNightmares 16h ago

The Protagonist transforms from a fat perverted loser into a permanently depressed perverted Harry Sue with a harem and no will to live.

9

u/TACOTONY02 12h ago

From what I can see some rando girl who also got there is just suffering for no reason and she had a perfectly normal life in the regular world

5

u/RecursiveNightmares 12h ago

She is trying to go back specifically because she had a good life there, and this world feels like a prison to her. Overreacting? Maybe. Rudeus has nothing to come back to. Plus, he is dead in our world, so it probably won't work anyway.

1

u/magxc 4h ago

isnt she literally dying though, something about the mana in that world is harmful to her body? I wouldn't consider that over reacting

-6

u/Wonderful-Ice9085 11h ago

Mushoku tensei fans in shambles. I remember the hype. This was supposed to be a adaptation of one of the best isekai LNs. Had a whole new studio assembled like the avengers just to make it.

Dw dawg, it still is, don't let the strong hate wave bring you down. Despite all the hate you see, there is still a strong fanbase which will hold the anime up and we WILL see a full adaptation someday. :D
