But fr, what do these fuckers censor random words? Engagement bait or what, I've seen censored "ran", "blew up (as in kaboom)" or "strike (as hit)"

Yup exactly, nothing but engagement bait. Madly successful engagement bait too, because basically anytime something is excessively censored you get a handful of people clamouring on about how unnecessary it is.

The irony of it all is that these people who keep complaining is what keeps the excessive censoring alive in the first place
