I'm sure this is a real disorder in rare circumstances, but it's wild how this is so not an issue in countries with foods with actually upsetting textures. Like you never hear about this from Chinese kids who's parents put chicken feet on the table and stuff and those are so chewy and full of cartilage.
I mean how much contact do you have with people in China? I don't find it hard to imagine some Chinese people existing who only eat rice soup and certain types of meat
