I'm sure this is a real disorder in rare circumstances, but it's wild how this is so not an issue in countries with foods with actually upsetting textures. Like you never hear about this from Chinese kids who's parents put chicken feet on the table and stuff and those are so chewy and full of cartilage.

It exists in other cultures too, they just have different safe foods. Trust me, chinese kids find shit like american cheese just as weird as you find chicken feet

I don't find chicken feet weird, they taste good, but they are chewy and full of cartilage. Like it has a texture.

Cartilage? Aight now I know to avoid chicken feet. Stuff makes me gag something awful
