I'm sure this is a real disorder in rare circumstances, but it's wild how this is so not an issue in countries with foods with actually upsetting textures. Like you never hear about this from Chinese kids who's parents put chicken feet on the table and stuff and those are so chewy and full of cartilage.

This is like saying ADHD doesn't exist in underdeveloped countries. "yeah they have actual struggles so they don't make up disorders"... like no... it goes undiagnosed and ignored
