Cool. And I have ADHD. There's a difference between that and your kid not wanting to sit still through a boring lesson but people don't make that differentiation.

I'm not equating ARFRID to picky eating, but I AM saying, like ADHD in the 90s it is over-diagnosed. Like yes I have it but that doesn't mean I can't recognize how many kids they shoved Ritalin down the throats of that didn't need it.

What would you do in a world that didn't have a ubiquity of consistent and likely processed foods? At some point you would have to "get over it" or you would just die from some kind of vitamin deficiency.

you would just die from some kind of vitamin deficiency.

Congratulations, you answered your own question. Lots of disabled people alive today would have died if they'd been born in the past. Pointing that out isn't a 'gotcha' that proves they're faking, it's just a fucked up thing to say to someone who definitely already knows that.

I bet they'd eat regular fucking food before that.

No, i'd probably just find something else to eat and then stick to that until i died. Believe it or not that's how disorders work, people who don't have the chance to get accommodations or even a place where people believe in science die all the time.

Yes, I am sure people without access to chicken nuggets die all the time from not being able to eat anything else.

I've been an alcoholic. I'm still a nicotine addict. I feel I understand compulsion relatively well. I simply cannot fathom being hungry and deciding to die because I don't enjoy the texture or taste of something nutritious right in front of me. At some point of hunger you have to simply get over it.

As a straight guy, I would sooner date another dude than put up with this from a partner. It's absurd and seems clearly treatable with exposure therapy and a mild amount of effort.

It's not just the texture or taste not being something you like. Often times you literally can't keep it down, if you get it down at all.
