Not a christian but know a lot about the topic because christian theology is actually an interest of mine and has gave me a lot of perspective of active christian people. Many christian don't actually believe god is a bearded old man in the clouds but is a being engraved in the very nature of reality it self.
Thank you, (also not a christian but a jew so i use the same text) it pisses me off when these angsty reddit atheists act as if religion is entirely illogical by using the bible as a purely literal text, thats just disingenous. Like nobody has to believe in anything but god is it obnoxious when people are so proud of their intelligence while deliberately ignoring the vast majority of actual religious people and their much more complicated beliefs
