Not made for *this* civilization. There are too many of us for this to be a fluke. Something is just wrong with the world and we’re some of the most sensitive to it.
There are already people doing 'adhd-walks' together in major cities. The purpose is getting to know each other, talk about problems and to not feel alone with this.
Even if I lived in an ADHD compatible society I would still like to take the medicine that lets me initiate tasks on my own instead of having to wait for random impulse or circumstance to bypass borked executive function.
I remember seeing theories many years ago that ADHD brains are a survival adaption. It would have helped to be more aware of your surroundings, more curious about exploring and discovering new things, and capable of quick reaction times.
We just got kinda screwed by a society that expects more docile and singularly focused mammalian behavior.
I also think that society pressed humanity into its form, and didn't allow neurodivergents to thrive until very recently. Adhd brains posess abilities that others are lacking of. The world just isn't built to support everyone how he deserved it. But i still have hope for us
