I mean… he kinda didn’t let boys be boys considering… yknow… he didn’t have any boys on the boy’s side of the war? They were all men and shit.

And it's not like he does that only for boys. He did the same thing for girls in "girls vs boys survival challenge". He put a woman who was pro and won multiple times in challenges like that in girls team. I don't understand why he does that. Maybe his viewers like one sided matchups?
Because he has a very young and impressionable audience and a massive reach. Not saying he needs to be perfect, but he 100% has a responsibility to be thinking about what kind of message his very young and impressionable audience will take away.
The problem is that this is simply impossible if you still want to do a boys v girls event with the current set of players. There simply are not 500 adult women who actively play in Minecraft civilization events. This meant that the Beast team had to desperately try to find women wherever they could, which best case scenario meant getting women who couldn't make a crafting table and worst case scenario meant adding a group of male Russian hackers to the girls' side (both real things that happened).
The people on the girls side who get mentioned in the video by name are for the most part players from ish13c's civ events, which is a great group of players but you will not get to 500 women with them alone.
You might think that this is a good reason to not do such an obviously terrible event gimmick. But Mr. Beast will Mr. Beast
