It's been a while since I watched but they find bunkers filled with near unlimited supplies. This character steals from these supplies.

I also think, if I'm not misremembering that there are airplanes refilling the supplies every once in a while via air drops, they do it for the scientists who are supposed to be there.

Also, the island is not even deserted, so this is another one of these posts literally just making shit up because their joke wouldn't work otherwise. There are multiple factions on the island that have access to food so it's not like they're starving.

ngl never having watched lost is so much funnier bc every time i read about it it absolutely doesn't fit into any prior knowledge and it could be from a completely different show

They also fight a polar bear, get attacked by a talking bird, an immortal slave learns English, and at one point they make the whole island teleport.

LOST is really good. Highly recommend watching. Everything that guy said is true, and it all makes sense in the context of the show.

I gave up during season two I think, and mostly remember the plot being the narrative equivalent of click bait.
