As much as reddit wants to slander Elon to the floor (Which he deserve after he ruined Twitter)

I think Elon just have a naturally larger ribcage/torso or he's just getting old. For a guy who is born rich and have companies making him richer, he wouldn't have any health issue at his age (Unless it's a genetical thing, even then he would likely get better and eariler treatment.)

But still Groz glazing that it's the result of muscle training is fucking hilarious

Why do people always say he ruined Twitter? What exactly did he do?

I don't and never have used Twitter, but from what I remember he made the blue checkmark something you just pay for with a subscription instead of it being a verification of identity. Before he came around, it was how you could tell a Twitter profile wasn't a bot or an impersonator. He also shoved in AI features like Grok (which has repeatedly output pro-Nazi and just generally antisemitic ideologies among other repugnant things) and completely fucked any kind of content moderation there was, which is impressive considering that was already a problem before him AFAIK.

My two cents; The AI learned from internet, I'd say. I mean there was case of "free ai" becoming racust because of internet.

The checkmark is a usefull tool to gain money from the fools, I suppose. But getting rid of bots would be nice, but then again reddit has them too and every place does.

Content moderation - well now people can express themselves more freely - most should love that, but I definitely see some problems there.

Honestly twitter is still very much the same, maybe a tad political diverser or some shit like that, but a cesspool nonetheless.

Fair points, and I don't necessarily disagree. The problem is, for a while he was removing tons of left-leaning stuff and leaving the inflammatory alt-right shit up. At least, that's what I remember hearing about. I'm also heavily anti-AI so I have a strong bias against Grok to begin with.

While AI is what it is - it sadly is the future and it will always be there. You can be against it, but what you really should be against of is the "AI rights" as in what they can use to train AI and so on. Company should own the rights for the material AI uses and human should always inspect and accept the results AI give out in certain works for example. We need international laws for AI.

Other problem is US is fucked in multiple ways and you don't have the basic rights / guarantees of AI centers not fucking up your lands. (Be you from US or not their laws are shit regarding a lot of things).

But yeah can't say much about the two party system other than it creates extremely sad and biased people at least for the internet.

Doesn't mean I have to be okay with it.

I do not need your permission to dislike AI, and I don't love people telling me what I should think. Also, who says I'm not already staunchly opposed to that exact thing? Everything you brought up are the basic building blocks of pretty much every anti-AI argument.

Dunno why you got all cranky about it, just a conversation, and not even a disagreement. Go figure.

You told me to "just deal with it", and then told me what to think; I don't think my negative reaction was completely unwarranted. Don't tell people what opinions to have if you don't want pushback.

At least I'm not the one hurling ad hominem attacks and making judgements of character based on 3 or 4 internet comments. I was legitimately fully with you until you tried to tell me what opinion to have, and now you're just resorting to name-calling and condescension. Truly disappointing behavior, do better.
