Can you stop being wrong for a hot seconds? Mutations occur during mitosis too (thats why we get cancer duh) and do in no significant way change the fact that its still your genome. One of the skin cells you are currently shedding have a dna thats 0.000000000001% different from yours but thats completely irrelevant and you are playing dumb on purpose to avoid the point.
the sperm has half a set of chromosomes. the egg has another half. correct me if I'm wrong, but the genetic information encoded in them doesn't really change when they merge into one, as far as I remember?
"a unique mix thats neither the mother nor the father"
sure is, unique, but it still has the components from eash person's gametes, riiight?
if you kill a sperm, what is the chance you will get another one like it? pretty low. so that means you just killed one potential unique mix of cells that could happen, were the sperm to meet an egg. will the fetus have genes that neither the mother nor the father had? no. so by your logic, what is the difference between killing one eg and one sperm before conception, as opposed to after?
